Yesterday I was invited to lunch at my friend Sally's lovely home. (sorry no pictures) There were 2 other ladies there, Jennifer and Paige, and they are QUILTERS! YEAH!! For so long it seemed like all of my friends had other interests so I was always off on my own quilting. We are planning to get topgether once a month. Maybe they will also join our quilt group.
I'm always on the look for little gifts to make. Last night I found these and thought I'd pass them along.
It was way to cold to go out and shop last night so I spent some time surfing around the internet. Haven't done this in awhile. I came across this great video of quilts from Houston Quilt Market.
Then came across this tutorial at G Magazine Online. A great go green project.

I have made a few Gingerbread houses but nothing like these. Amazing talent!
I love reading murder mysteries and this looks like it could be fun. Quilting Is Murder is starting in January.

Finally caught up with all the cyberweek orders. Thanks everyone for shopping. We offering a special to our blog followers this week. A family tradition for years has been a trip to John Wannamakers(now Macy's) to watch their fabulous light show. On a whim, I went into you tube and look what I found. Brought back some beautiful memories....
