This and That

Sandy is off to a trade show for handmade collectables in Valley Forge. A new venture she is looking into for the Craftshop Shuffle. I'll be here holding down the fort.
And, while the cat's away, I shall play!
Looking for a cute project for Valentine's Day? Just came across these really cute Penny Pockets from
Sew-What's-New

How about a free stack and whack heart from Bethany Reynolds ?

Here is an applique heart quilt from Janome

So I went searching to find a 'heart' giveaway and found a cute little punchneedle kit called Love Birds 2. It includes the pattern + floss. You need to have your own punchneedle.

Just leave us a comment on what your are working on and you'll be entered 1x to win.

If you also link to us from your blog you'll get 3 entries.

Deadline will be Friday January 29th.
Now I better get going on getting some work done. Look for something special in our newsletter.

I linked to your site in my favorite blogs, you are the first one as I just set this up. You are also listed on blog lists I follow with updates. Thank you for all the neat Valentine Project links.

I'm working on some embroidered kitchen towels. They're off white with red stripes across the bottom and toop and sides, and I'm embroidering red hearts on strings on them! So cute! I've never done any punch needle but would love to learn how! It's so pretty!

Ooopps, I forgot to tell you what I'm working on. I won "The Caroler" honeybun roll in another contest and I am making a quilt with it. It is turning out very nice.

Just finished my first blocks for Civil War Tribute - what a great quilt this is going to be. I am finishing up an applique sampler quilt from Piece O Cake and tonight I will work on my redwork snow angel blocks. Haven't even though about Valentines Day yet and I love what you posted. If I had a blog I would link you to it.

Just finished my "Wild Thing" iris quilt top. I'm now hand quilting what I call "Leftovers II" - which is completely made of scraps left over from other projects.
The Valentine's project we have underway is a baby girl quilt for my cousin who is due around February 14 ...it has the cutest pink rick rack hearts that frame panels of children playing.
